School Overview

Wanniassa Hills Primary School is a Preschool to Year 6 school located in the Tuggeranong Valley, providing a high-quality education in a welcoming and inclusive community environment.

Our school offers a broad and balanced curriculum aligned with the Australian Curriculum and designed to support students to achieve success academically, socially and emotionally. Through explicit teaching and high-quality classroom practice, we build strong foundations in literacy and numeracy while encouraging curiosity, creativity and a love of learning.

Students at Wanniassa Hills benefit from engaging learning environments, specialist programs and opportunities to participate in sport, the arts, technology and leadership experiences. We place a strong emphasis on student wellbeing and recognise that positive relationships and a sense of belonging are essential to learning and growth.

Wanniassa Hills Primary School is proud to host the Tuggeranong Primary Introductory English Centre (TPIEC), supporting newly arrived students and families as they develop English language skills and transition successfully into Australian schooling. This program strengthens our commitment to inclusion and contributes to the rich cultural diversity of our school community.

We value strong partnerships with families and believe education is most successful when schools and communities work together. Our dedicated staff maintain high expectations and are committed to supporting every learner to grow in confidence, develop resilience and achieve their personal best.

At Wanniassa Hills Primary School, we are proud of our strong community, quality teaching and commitment to helping every student thrive.
